Dear Friend,

Aren’t you glad that you don’t walk alone in this world? Jesus knew that we can only go but so far all by ourselves.  We need God and we need one another. You were not created to be isolated and trying to live for God all by yourself.  If you find yourself in that position, start by calling a friend to pray with you.  Get into agreement on a church to visit and go until you find a church home and saints who believe the Word of God.

When Jesus sent His disciples out to preach the Gospel, He sent them two by two.  There is strength in walking together with another believer. Even more than that, Jesus Himself promises that He will not leave us as orphans, with no one to help us.

I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
John 14:18 (NKJV)

“Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:20b (NKJV)

This week you may be preparing to visit (or be visited) with family and friends. If you’re like me, not everyone in your extended family knows the Lord, and that can make you feel a little lonely or out of place. Worse, we can feel intimidated because someone else in the family has more of this or that, or perhaps their life appears to be more successful in one way. Beloved, our success does not come by what we hold in our bank account, but Who we hold in our hearts!

Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.”
Hebrews 13:5 (NLT)

My friend, you never walk alone.

Hallelujah!
