Dear Friend,<\/p>\n

Did you know that God created the world by speaking? If a seamstress creates a new dress, she takes fabric and thread and works with her hands. If a mechanic builds a new motor, he takes many working parts and puts them together with his hands. Yet when God created the world, He used His words, not His hands, to create.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And God said<\/u>, \u201cLet there by light,\u201d and there was light.<\/strong><\/p>\n

And God said<\/u><\/strong>, \u201cLet the water under the sky be gathered into one place, and let dry ground appear.\u201d\u00a0 And it was so.<\/strong><\/p>\n

And God said<\/u>, \u201cLet the land produce vegetation . . . and it was so<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n

In Genesis chapter one, you can highlight, \u201cAnd God said<\/u><\/strong>,\u201d NINE times! My friend, we are made in the image of God and our words carry power, too. As He is, so are we. What He did, we can do also. Our words can create and build up or tear down and destroy.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Therefore encourage one another and\u00a0build\u00a0each\u00a0other\u00a0up, just as in fact you are doing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This week, determine in your heart to speak words that build up your life and build up the lives of those around you, too!<\/p>\n
