{"id":5762,"date":"2026-07-13T18:30:38","date_gmt":"2026-07-13T18:30:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pastorjoramsay.com\/stwm_wp\/?post_type=wow&#038;p=5762"},"modified":"2026-07-09T11:51:30","modified_gmt":"2026-07-09T11:51:30","slug":"july-13-2026","status":"publish","type":"wow","link":"https:\/\/pastorjoramsay.com\/stwm_wp\/wow\/july-13-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"July 13, 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">Dear Friend,<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The Lord acts on behalf of people who believe Him and speak the Word of God by faith.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>God always acts on His Word.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><b>Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I am alert\u00a0and\u00a0active, watching over My word to perform it<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Jeremiah 1:12 (AMPC)<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">God directed me to a special story in the Bible when he first started this ministry.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The story begins when a Roman centurion approached Jesus and asked him to heal his servant who was \u201cgrievously tormented.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Let\u2019s see what happened next:<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><b>And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><b><sup>6\u00a0<\/sup>And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><b><sup>7\u00a0<\/sup>And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><b><sup>8\u00a0<\/sup>The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but <\/b><span class=\"s1\"><b>speak the word<\/b><\/span><b> only, and my servant shall be healed<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">Matthew 8:5-8 (KJV)<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The centurion officer commanded at least 100 other soldiers.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>He was used to soldiers immediately obeying his orders.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Even today in the military, if an officer says, \u201cJump!\u201d you don\u2019t ask deliberate.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>You do what you\u2019re told.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">When we understand the authority of God\u2019s Word, our faith will soar.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>We can be like the centurion officer who knew in his heart that if Jesus would just speak the Word, healing would happen.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>His request would be answered.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">May your faith soar this week as you speak the Word!<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Pastor Jo<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Speak the Word Only<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":5764,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"template":"","re":[],"class_list":["post-5762","wow","type-wow","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/pastorjoramsay.com\/stwm_wp\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/wow\/5762","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/pastorjoramsay.com\/stwm_wp\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/wow"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/pastorjoramsay.com\/stwm_wp\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/wow"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/pastorjoramsay.com\/stwm_wp\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/5764"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/pastorjoramsay.com\/stwm_wp\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=5762"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"re","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/pastorjoramsay.com\/stwm_wp\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/re?post=5762"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
