Dear Friend,

This week the eyes of the world are on the cross of Jesus and the empty tomb.

Hallelujah! Imagine that you were there during that moment when Jesus gave up His spirit and died:

Again Jesus cried out loudly and then died. When Jesus died, the curtain in the Temple was torn into two pieces. The tear started at the top and tore all the way to the bottom. Also, the earth shook and rocks were broken. The graves opened, and many of God’s people who had died were raised from death. They came out of the graves.

The first recorded words that were spoken after Jesus died came from the officer closest to the cross. He and his soldiers were the very ones who helped to crucify Jesus. What was their reaction to Jesus’ death?

The army officer and the soldiers guarding Jesus saw this earthquake and everything that happened. They were very afraid and said, “He really was the Son of God!”

Do you believe that Jesus is the Son of God? Do you know that the Word of God says that VICTORY belongs to the person who believes that Jesus is God’s Son?

It is our faith that has won the victory against the world. So who wins against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
1 John 5:5 (ERV)

Jesus wins so WE WIN! Say this with me:

Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God. Because of You, I win the victory!
