Dear Friend,

As you start your week, remember that your tongue has the power to birth things and kill things. You can drive someone away from you forever or endear them to you forever. The tongue is small, but it can steer you over the storms of life or it can do a lot of damage.

Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires. Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things.

James 3:4,5 (NKJV)

This week, your tongue will steer your life—one way or the other. Your tongue controls your success or failure, your healing or sickness, and your financial security or poverty. That’s why the Lord told me to call my ministry, Speak the Word Ministries.

The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

John 6:63b (NKJV)

Christians haven’t even scratched the surface when it comes to giving voice to the Word of God. There is LIFE in His Word and that life, child of God, belongs to you!
