Dear Friend,

Do you know that the wicked are afraid even when there is no reason to be afraid?  It’s true.

The wicked run away even when no one is chasing them; the right-living, however, stand their ground as boldly as lions.

Proverbs 28:1 (VOICE)

God’s children are not equipped with fear, they are equipped with boldness. If you walk in the Spirit, you will live fearlessly, even in this present age of uncertainty and wickedness.

God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)

Lions attack animals that are larger than themselves. They are courageous in the face of opposition and are not afraid to take on an impossible task. Lions don’t run away.  In fact, a lion will advance against its enemy in order to protect their own.

I want to encourage you to stand boldly in the face of fear this week. Know that your God is a lion inside of you. He will fearlessly walk with you and rise up with a roar inside of you in the face of any opposition!

Blessings of courage to you this week,

Pastor Jo
