Dear friend,

Every one of us has a key that gives us access into our own home.  God has keys to His kingdom, the home where He lives.  Jesus promised to give us the keys to that kingdom and that key is voice activated.

“And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven.”
Matthew 16:19 (NLT)

Jesus said these keys to the kingdom belong to us. It’s up to us to forbid or permit. It is up to us to bind or to loose. God isn’t going to do it—it’s up to us.

If you have a temptation that keeps tantalizing you and drawing you into its web, you have the right to forbid that temptation to come near you. If you have a weakness when it comes to sin or sickness, the Word of God says to go to war against that weakness and say, “I am STRONG.”

Proclaim this among the nations:
“Prepare for war!
Wake up the mighty men,
Let all the men of war draw near,
Let them come up.
10 Beat your plowshares into swords
And your pruning hooks into spears;
Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’ ”
Joel 3:9,10 (NKJV)

This week, prepare for war—the war against your personal weakness. Every morning, wake up and say, “I am STRONG in the Lord and in the power of His might!”  Forbid that temptation to take dominion over you.  This week, let’s use the keys that Jesus gave us to walk in His kingdom.

Let the weak say, “I am strong!”
