Dear Friend,

How wonderful that God created us, men and women, in His image!

So God created human beings in his own image.
In the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
Genesis 1:27 (NLT)

Think about it. God spoke this whole universe into being. Because we are made in His image, we are created to be speaking spirits. We have to open our mouths and speak God’s Word.

We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.
2 Corinthians 4:13 (NKJV)

The spirit of faith is to speak what we believe. When the devil puts a negative thought into your mind, you have a word for him. Speak THE WORD, God’s Word. The Bible is called, “The Sword of the Spirit,” and it’s our job to pick up that sword and swing it!

Put on salvation as your helmet and take the sword of the spirit which is the Word of God.
Ephesians 6:17 (NKJV)

When you are in a trial, go into speaking mode and quote what God says in His Word about your particular situation. The power to fight is in your mouth!

Hallelujah!
