Dear Friend,

The year 2023 is before us and we have a choice on what to say about our present and our future. Will we speak life or death? Blessing or cursing?

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
Proverbs 18:21

I don’t know about you, but I don’t want any worms in my fruit—but bad fruit is what we get if we speak any curses or fears over our lives. I don’t want to project any fearful “what ifs” over my life, because pretty soon I’ll be eating what I just said. Our tongues speak words and those words are seeds that will produce fruit that is healthy or fruit that is poisonous.

My friend, don’t be afraid of your future in 2023. God is vast and He wants to gather you close to Himself. Let’s start off this New Year with a few promises from God’s Word. I want you to speak one of these promises over yourself for the year of 2023.

Thank you, Lord that you said:

Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name;
You are Mine.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.
For I am the LORD your God,
The Holy One of Israel, your Savior.

Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

not as the world gives do I give to you.
Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Hebrews 13:5 (NKJV)

God’s Word said it and that settles it.
