Dear Friend,

I know it’s January but you can still get some planting done! It’s time to plant your faith! In Luke 8:11, Jesus said, “The seed is the Word of God.” The way we plant seed is by speaking.

But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach).
Romans 10:8 (NKJV)

In Matthew 8:8, a centurion came to Jesus and he released his faith when he spoke.

The centurion said, “Speak the Word only, and my servant shall be healed.” He was NOT trying to believe; he had already believed.

Jesus said to him, “As thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee.” Think about this. Once you plant your seed, do not go back and dig it up by speaking negatively about your situation. Speak the Word of God! It is the substance of what you desire. Praise God for it, even though it’s not yet in your possession.
