Happy New Year!

This is a whole new year and I want to remind you of something very important:

Nobody can do what you were born to do better than you.

You were born to do what is in your heart. I want to encourage you to be a David and encourage yourself at the start of this new year.
One day David and his warriors returned home from a battle to find that another enemy had captured all their wives and children and burned their town to the ground. As you can imagine, David found himself in a severe trial:

And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.
1 Samuel 30:6 (KJV)

Most of us have not experienced what David did, yet some things in our
lives can still be devastating. But we can imitate David’s response when we face difficulties—he encouraged himself in the Lord and he chose to fight back. Look at the result:

David recovered all.
1 Samuel 30:19 (KJV)

Don't let the devil steal your dreams and visions, the things you along were born to do. Never quit being who you are no matter where you find yourself, and remember who your Father is!

Happy New Year!
