Dear Friend,

Jesus knows your name! The Bible tells us the story of a man named Zacchaeus, who was too short to see over a large crowd of people. One day, Jesus walked into town surrounded by a crowd of people. Zacchaeus climbed up a sycamore tree and sat high above the crowd so he could watch what was going on. Zacchaeus was surprised when Jesus looked up at him sitting there in the tree and called him by name!

When Jesus came by, he looked up at Zacchaeus and called him by name. “Zacchaeus!” he said. “Quick, come down! I must be a guest in your home today.”
Luke 19:5 (NLT)

Jesus not only called Zacchaeus by name, but he invited Himself to his home!  Now, that takes boldness. People in the crowd grumbled because Zacchaeus was what they called “a notorious sinner” who cheated people as he collected their taxes. Jesus knew that Zacchaeus cheated and did things wrong, but He loved him just the same.

Jesus loves each one of us and He wants every person to go to heaven when their body dies here on earth. Jesus is the only way to heaven.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
John 14:6 (NKJV)

Jesus knew Zacchaeus’s name and He knows your name, too. He is calling you to come and choose Jesus as your Savior. To choose to be born again is the most important decision you will ever make. If you are ready to receive Jesus as your Lord, please pray this prayer with me:

Father, I am sorry for my sins.
I believe Jesus died to forgive me, and I receive that forgiveness. Jesus, I make You my lord.
I believe that You are alive and that You now live in me.
I am saved.
I am forgiven.
I receive You now, in Jesus’ name.
Amen.

If you pray that prayer from your heart, to the best of your ability, the Lord Jesus will forgive you of your sins. You are born again and adopted into His family. Please forward this devotional to someone you love so they can be born again, too.

May God bless you and keep you from this day forward!
