Dear Friend,

God always acts on His Word.  You and I join forces with God’s Word and God’s will when we speak or confess the Word of God and confess that Jesus is Lord.

Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus . . .
Hebrews 3:1 (NKJV)

The word confession means to say the same thing that God says—to respond to God at His Word.

Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it.
Jeremiah 1:12 (AMPC)

God is delighted when we agree with Him and say the same thing that He says!  He watches over His Word because His Word is truth and full of life! After we receive Jesus as our Savior, we need to hold fast to our confession.

Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.
Hebrews 4:14 (NKJV)

Think of a time in your life when you saw a scripture passage in your Bible and the words nearly jumped off the page and landed in your heart!  Don’t let go of that scripture.  Hold fast and speak the Word over your situation.  Know that Jesus your Savior is right beside you, agreeing with you, and actively working to perform His Word in your life.

Hallelujah!
