Dear Friend,
If you have been praying for something for quite some time, I want you to take courage. The Bible says that God is always near to those who call upon Him!

The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,
To all who call upon Him in truth.
He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him;
He also will hear their cry and save them.
Psalm 145:18,19 (NKJV)

Do you know that there are times when God answers us before we even pray? It’s true!

I will answer them before they even call to me.
While they are still talking about their needs,
I will go ahead and answer their prayers!
Isaiah 65:24 (NLT)

Daniel had been praying for quite some time about a matter. In fact, he fasted and prayed about something for twenty-one days! Look how God responded to Daniel. He sent an angel and the angel talked to Daniel:

Then he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel,
for from the first day that you set your heart to understand,
and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard;
and I have come because of your words.
But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days;
and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me.
Daniel 10:12,12 (NKJV)

WOW, that really calls for a “Selah,” my friend. Think about that! God hears your prayer request but, like Daniel, the devil will do his best to hold up your answer. Don’t lose faith! Keep praying and thanking God for His answer.
