Dear Friend,

Before I was born again in 1994, I had problems with my mind. After I became a Christian, the problems didn’t disappear, but continued. In fact, you could say that I brought a new definition to the word depressed. I didn’t want to take a bath or do my hair. I didn’t even want to live anymore, and I used to direct a beauty company!

God showed me at that time how to renew my mind in His Word. He took me from one level to the next and from glory to glory!

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror
the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same
image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

2 Corinthians 3:18 (NKJV)

There are things I must do every day so I don’t reproduce that person who was drowning in depression. First, I stay as close to my Daddy as I can get. I’m talking about my Heavenly Father. I don’t wander off because the devil is roaming and prowling about, ready to devour. I turn my attention to my Father and soak myself in His wonderful Word.

Sin is death and it will catch up with you. I want to encourage you to renew your mind in God’s Word. He will take you from level to level and from glory to glory.

The Lord says to you this week—it’s going to get brighter and He is going to take you out of the darkness and into His light. Focus on His glory and read His Word!

Praise God!
