Dear Friend,

Our words carry power. Words direct the course of our lives.

For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.
James 3:2 (NKJV)

My mother used to say, “If you can’t find something good to say, don’t say anything at all!”

That’s good advice, but even better is to fill that empty void by speaking the Word of God. When you speak the Word of God, hell shakes. The devil does not want to hear God’s Word out of your mouth. The devil trembles when you pray in the Spirit. He shakes when you praise and worship Jesus—even in your own home.

One time the enemy was trying to bring something negative on me, and I put on a song called, “Break Every Chain.”  I cranked up that music and sang it in my house, and then prayed in the Spirit and sang.  There is NOTHING that God’s Word cannot break.  I called out, “I can hear those chains falling!”

I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised;
So shall I be saved from my enemies.
Psalm 18:2 (NKJV)

Is the Lord bringing to your mind a song that you can sing today?  Can you hear those chains falling?

Glory to God!
