Dear friend,

Aren’t you glad that there is power in the Word of God? God’s Word never loses its power, and your mouth is the container that is going to carry that Word into your life this week.

Heaven and earth will pass away,
but My words will by no means pass away.
Matthew 24:35 (NKJV)

The Bible tells us that Paul and Silas suffered trials and attacks. One time when they preached the Gospel, they were beaten, handcuffed, and thrown into jail. When they got out, they prayed for boldness to preach the Gospel again!  Paul warned the church in Ephesus to put on the whole armor of God:

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Ephesians 6:10,11 (NKJV)

The battle can be fierce, my friend.  Make sure you know your armor:

1. Helmet of salvation
2. Breastplate of righteousness
3. Belt of truth
4. Shoes of the Gospel of peace
5. Shield of faith
6. Sword of the Spirit

Are you dressed and ready to go into battle today?  The Lord your God is with you wherever you go!
