Dear friend,

Love and obedience are the key to divine health, the key to prosperity, and the key to your crisis. We get crisis calls or emergency calls from friends who want prayer. We are glad to minister to people and pray for friends, especially during a time of crisis.

However, there are people who are looking to get rich by their own means—maybe by a new investment or by winning the lottery. We have to consider that God is our source of everything and He said He will give us what we need. Instead of seeking a lottery ticket, we need to seek God!

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else,
and live righteously,
and he will give you everything you need.
Matthew 6:33 (NLT)

Years ago, I sat in my house in my hometown of Mount Olive just seeking the Lord and confessing the Word of God. Sometimes I felt nothing.  That didn’t stop me—I confessed the Word of God. When God did speak to me, I wrote down what He said. You are reading this devotional today because I spent time seeking God. I have more than 300 radio stations today because I spent time seeking God. I’m further than I ever thought I’d be and I didn’t even buy a lottery ticket!

I want to encourage you to seek the Lord this week. Keep a pencil and pad beside your Bible. Get your tea or coffee, get the limitations off your mind, and seek the Lord. He promises He will give you everything that you need.

Glory to God!
