Dear Friend,

I want to encourage you to prophesy to dry bones—to all that is dead around you. God spoke to Ezekiel to prophesy to dead, dry bones and what a sight it must have been when Ezekiel obeyed God and all those dead bones stood up and flesh appeared on them!

Ezekiel said, "I prophesied and I commanded as I was commanded to do. As I prophesied there was a thundering noise and behold I was shaking and trembling and rattling. And the bones came together. Bone to its bone. I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.”

Ezekiel 37:7,8

Of course, God had Ezekiel prophesy to the breath and he did. Ezekiel got up and said, “This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.” The bones heard the Word of the Lord and they came to life!  My friend, when hope is lost, prophesy the Word. When bones are dried up and you feel completely cut off from the life of God, remember there is hope. Speak to the dead areas that you see around you.

God is active and alert to perform His Word!
