Dear Friend,

We are in a battle against the powers of darkness. Ephesians 6:10-12 (see The Voice translation) tells us to put on the full armor of God to protect ourselves from:

1. Tyrants
2. Authorities
3. Supernatural powers
4. Demon princes
5. Demons that slither in the darkness of this world
6. Wicked spiritual armies that lurk

God created us and our precious children to represent Him on the earth. He rescued us from the powers of sin and Satan so that one day we will join Him in His kingdom in heaven. My friend, hell was not created for God’s children.  Hell was created for Satan and his followers. Satan knows he is headed for hell and he knows his time is short.  That’s why he is fighting against the saints more than ever before.  In fact, the devil would like nothing better than to destroy our children and grandchildren.

And this is why you need to be head-to-toe in the full armor of God: so you can resist during these evil days and be fully prepared to hold your ground.
Ephesians 6:13 (VOICE)

This week remember to put on the full armor of God. In fact, I know of parents who teach their children to pray each night and put on “the armor of God pajamas” before bedtime!

The Lord gives us two powerful offensive weapons against the devil—prayer and the Word of God!

With God on our side, we are more than conquerors!
