Prayer for Sleepless Nights

Father, I thank You for Your presence in our lives and thank you that we are never alone.
I realize that many of Your children are being overcome with a spirit of fear in these difficult times and many are experiencing Sleepless Nights.
But I am so thankful Lord God that according to your Word, You did not give us a spirit of fear but a spirit of love and a sound mind. Help us to understand that fear comes from believing in the lies of the enemy. And Satan is using this to cause us to fear so he can get us out of faith - out of Your protection - so he can destroy our lives.
I pray Lord God, that You will help us to see clearly that Satan is using the mouths of the Media and even some of our Ministers to spread this fear.
Help us to have a spirit like David. Even though he was surrounded on all sides by his enemies he could lay down at night and Sleep like a baby because he knew that You Lord were keeping a watch over him. Hallelujah!
I thank You Lord, that You never sleep nor slumber and You are never off duty. You never take a break, but You keep a watchful eye on Your children at all times.
And in the name of Jesus, I declare “No Disease will infect us and No Plague come near our dwelling...” for You have placed a hedge of protection around us. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
