Dear Friend,
Do you have faith in the Word of God? Like Abraham, God is calling you and me to believe God and not waver back and forth in unbelief. When God told Abraham that he would be the father of many nations, Abraham knew that he was too old to father children. What’s more, he understood Sarah, his incredibly beautiful wife, was unable to have children. How did Abraham respond to God’s promise?
Yet he (Abraham) did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, 21 being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.
Romans 4:20,21 (NIV)
Abraham never wavered in believing God's promise. He was fully persuaded that whatever God promised him would come true. In fact, the Bible says, his faith grew stronger. In this, he brought glory to God because he was fully convinced that God was able to do whatever He promised.
Abraham was in a trial, but he persevered in faith during that trial so that he could lay hold of what God promised him!
You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.
Hebrews 10:36 (NIV)
My friend, believe God’s Word. Everything God has promised will come true! If you are in a trial, persevere, believe God, continue to do the will of God and, like Abraham, you will receive what God has promised.
Glory to God!
