Dear Friend,
It was only four years ago when our nation was ambushed by the demonic COVID-19 virus. Who could have imagined that while our loved ones or friends languished in hospitals and homes fighting this deadly disease, that riots, marches, and violence would explode in our cities that summer of 2020? It was a dark time and many panicked in fear of the future. What does Jesus say about such dark days?
I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day;
the night is coming when no one can work.
John 9:4 (NKJV)
Whenever we recall the year 2020, I hope we also remember the bold, courageous Christians who stepped forward and held praise and worship services on the street and in the town squares of American cities. God put a word in the mouth of His children to preach the Gospel amid panic and fear.
The same Spirit that raised Christ Jesus from the dead dwells in every child of God.
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you,
He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
Romans 8:11 (NKJV)
We don’t know the details of what’s ahead in our future, but if we are a child of God then the One who holds the future, the One who raises the dead, the One who sees our tomorrows yet lives inside our mortal bodies! Glory to God!
Let’s work the works of God together, child of God, while there is still daylight.
May God give you the boldness and courage to step forward in obedience to His call on your life.
