Dear Friend,

Let’s think about faith, one of the three greatest qualities you and I can have as mentioned in the Bible:

Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love . . .
1 Corinthians 13:13 (NLT)

Faith is not in the heart of the proud person. The proud person believes in himself and his heart is full of self-interest and self-promotion. But a person who surrenders all of his (or her) interests and accomplishments to God, will live by faith in God.

Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him;
But the just shall live by his faith.
Habakkuk 2:4 (NKJV)

The question, then, is how can we get to the point that we live by faith?

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.
Romans 10:17 (NKJV)
