Dear Friend,
My prayer for you is that no matter what storm you may face this month, you will speak your faith in God so you can rise and conquer.
Fear is the opposite of faith. In fact, if we start talking about what we fear all the time, we open the door for the enemy to come in. Fear does not come from God.
We can look in the Word of God and see how the Spirit of God operates.
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)
Let’s look at things through God’s power, through God’s love, and through God’s mind! God see us as victorious. God sees us as overcomers and not backing off or cowering in fear when a storm arises.
I like what my husband, David, says. He says, “I am not afraid. I have peace. I’ve been through battles before.”
You’ve been through battles before, too, and God brought you through it! Your neighbor didn’t get you through it. Your banker didn’t get you through it. You didn’t get yourself through it. GOD got you through it!
I want to leave you with a verse to help you navigate any storm that comes your way:
Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God.
Philippians 4:6 (AMP)
Tell God all about your circumstances. You’ve been through battles before and God got you through. He will bring you through again!
Praise the Lord!
