A Word from Pastor Jo (Week of October 8, 2018)

Saints, How many times have you heard the scripture “Old things have passed away”?  Probably hundreds of times if we’re honest! This time as you hear it quoted once more, remember the passage as a whole: “Old things have passed away: all things have become new” (2 Cor. 5:17).  Daily! Boldly announce each morning that old things – sorrow, anger, procrastination, heartache have passed away. All things – joy, peace, obedience, hope have become new! Speak in agreement with God’s Word and God’s plan for you. In other words, “Change Your Perspective” Stop evaluating yourself merely from a human point of view. See yourself as Jesus sees you – A new creation. The old life is gone and see, a new life has begun. What Awesome News! Thank You Jesus.
