According to God’s Word in Mark 4:13, “All who hear His Word will not receive it equally...” However, all who hear His Word and allow it to take ROOT, this person will produce a “FRUITFUL LIFE”. Remember, God provides for those He loves even while they sleep (Psalm 127:2 NIV).
Prayer for 'The Wise and Foolish Builders'
Father, I thank you for providing me with everything I need to become a Wise Builder. I don’t want to be a Foolish Builder, I want to be a wise builder and according to your Word the only way I can accomplish this is to build a Foundation on Your Word.
A foundation that will stand through all outside Persecutions, cares, and attractions of this world or anything else that would interfere in my walk with you and affect my faith.
We all know that Your Word is the Foundation, and Jesus is the Rock that it has to be built on.
I pray that as I read your word and hear the Word, it will become deeply Rooted in me so that when the troubles of this world come my way, or the Fears of this world try to come upon me, I will be able to stand.
For according to the word, the one who hears the word, receives and accepts the word, and does them is like a man building a house who dug down deep and laid a foundation upon the Rock and when the flood arose, the torrent broke against that house and could not SHAKE IT OR MOVE IT. Glory to God!
Because it had been “Securely Built” or Founded on the Rock and that is what I want - a life that is built on the Solid Rock of Jesus my Lord. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
