A Word from Pastor Jo (Week of April 10, 2017)

The Battle of the Mind: Eph. 4:22-24 tells us to put off the old man and be renewed in the spirit of your mind... and that you put on the New Man. Saints, the human mind is a computer-like storage system of knowledge that stores everything. “Renewing” your mind is a process and it takes time as you study the Word. My point is, “You may have little control over your immediate emotional reactions to situations; but with the help of the Holy Spirit you can control your outward responses.” All our battles are in our minds. This is how Satan is able to deceive you. He deceives you through your thoughts. This is also how he holds you in bondage. Saints, You don’t have to be permanently enslaved to your past making you feel guilty and unworthy. “You Are A New Creature in Christ”. All things are made new and there is No Condemnation for him who is in Christ Jesus.
