A Word from Pastor Jo (Week of June 18, 2017)

Heavenly Encouragement: Saints, we all need encouragement on occasion, and sometimes when God’s servants have a special need, He has sent angels to provide it. In Daniel 9:21, we see where the angel Gabriel was sent to give Daniel encouragement. In Acts 27:23, when Paul was on his way to Rome and the boat he was in got caught in a severe storm that threatened the lives of everyone, an angel came to Paul and encouraged him with God’s promise that everyone would be saved. My point is that some of you may be in a situation now that requires a supernatural intervention. Keep this in mind, God has used angels to provide the physical needs of His people and God has sent angels to do battle for His children-to protect you. Remember Heb. 13:2. “Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares...” I prophesy that your answer could be in the next person that God sends your way. Don’t be too quick to judge who God sends.
