Prayer for New Identity in Christ/ A New Creature All Together

I thank You Lord that You have placed me far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and seated me in the heavenly realm at Your right hand. I thank You that I am no longer an outsider, migrant or an alien excluded from the rights of citizens,…but I now share citizenship with the saint. God’s own people, consecrated.

Father I thank You that You said If any man be in Christ that he is a new creation, A New Creature all together, something that’s never been before that all things have become new.

I thank You that I am Your own handiwork. Your workmanship, recreated in Christ Jesus. Born anew that I may do those good works which You Lord have predestined and planned before hand taking paths which You  prepared ahead of time that I should walk in them living the good life which You have prearranged and made and set apart for Himself.

I pray by the grace of God that I may no longer be like a child tossed like ships to and fro between chance gusts of teachings and wavering with every doctrine. I pray that I shall no longer be deceived by the cunning and unscrupulous teachers engaged in every shifting form of teaching in inventing errors to mislead me.

For there is one body and one Spirit, just as there is also one hope that belongs to the calling I have received.There is one Lord, One faith and one baptism, One God and Father of us all. Who is above all, Sovereign over all and living in all of us. In Jesus Name I thank You that I am now Your child and that You are keeping me Lord as the Apple of Your eye.Amen.
