A Word from Pastor Jo (Week of January 13, 2020)

Saints, why is it Important to Confess the Scriptures? The Apostle Paul tells us to speak what we believe. 'Since we have the same spirit of faith according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke”, we also believe and therefore we speak.' (2 Cor 4:13). God tells you in Jeremiah 1:12 that He is ready to perform His Word. Saints, the Lord listens for His Word to be spoken so that He can “perform” it. By confessing the scriptures, we are giving Him something to work with. It also lets the devil know that you are NOT in agreement with him. It is how your faith is increased (Rom 10:17) and it is also a method by which we “prove” Him and His Word, and it proves your faith to Him. So, Start Speaking Saints, and Give Him Something to Work With. Amen.
