You will learn that through the faith and bravery of a prostitute God brought down the walls of Jericho. You will learn that as a child of God you are special. And there is nothing you can’t do - through the Lord Jesus Christ who empowers you. Saints, your God is the Supreme God of the heavens above and the earth below. Hallelujah!
Prayer for Rahab - Justified by Faith
Father, I thank You for Your Son and for Your grace that saved me. I thank You for making me into the person that I am today. Thank You for washing me white as snow and for removing my sins as far as the East is from the West to remember them no more. Thank You, Jesus.
You have made me a New Creation altogether - my old life is gone and buried and I have a new life in Christ Jesus. Thank You Lord.
I thank You that You have taken what the world sees as foolish to shame the wise and You have chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong. You deliberately chose things despised by the world - things counted as nothing at all - and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important. Hallelujah!
I thank you Lord that, like Rahab, we have all sinned and come short of Your glory, but because of what Jesus did for us, we have been made righteous. I thank You that You are not interested in who I was or where I came from only that I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. And it does not matter how massive the walls or how big the mountain is - You will bring it down and Your children will get the Victory. Hallelujah! Thank You Jesus. Amen.
