Prayer for How a Believer Does Battle with a Bully

Father, I thank You that as a child of God, You have equipped me to stand my ground against my adversary the devil and to stand firm through Your Word.

I declare that the devil will not have my health, my mind, my finances or my children. And as a blood bought child of God, I will fight him with every fiber in me. I will exercise my authority by wielding the sword of the Spirit, which is “Your Word” that is sharper than any two edged sword; that acts like a hammer and will breaks in pieces the rock of most stubborn resistance. Hallelujah!

Help me to understand Lord, that there truly is Life and Death in my tongue. You said that words will kill or words will give life and that I have been given a choice over what I say.

So I declare today, that I shall speak life. I declare that I am blessed coming in and going out; that I am the head and not the tail. And I declare that no weapon formed against me shall prosper and every evil tongue that rises up against me shall die and not bear any fruit. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
