Dear Friend,

We all need money to live life and pay our bills. However, the Word of God warns us not to crave money or spend our energies seeking to make money at every opportunity.

For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.
1 Timothy 6:10

I had a young man tell me recently that all his life he had been seeking riches, only to come to the conclusion that he was already a very rich man! And he almost lost it all.

Money is never the problem. Loving money more than loving people is the problem. My point is, if you desire riches, seek after the ONE who provides all your needs and, like Solomon, God will give you what you have not asked for—both riches and honor. Amen.
