Dear Friend,
We all need encouragement on occasion, don’t we? Did you know that sometimes when one of God’s servants has a special need, He sends one of His angels to provide that need?
In Daniel 9:21, we see where the angel Gabriel was sent to give Daniel encouragement. He even gave Daniel the ability to understand something that was troubling him.
When the Apostle Paul was on his way to Rome, the boat he was in got caught in a severe storm that threatened the lives of everyone. God sent an angel to Paul and encouraged him with God’s promise that everyone would be saved.
For there stood by me this night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve . . .
Acts 27:23 (NKJV)
My point is that you may be in a situation now that requires a supernatural intervention. Keep this in mind. God has used angels to provide the physical needs of His people and God has sent angels to do battle for His children, to protect and even instruct us. It’s possible we’ve already met “people” who were strangers or visitors to us but were actually angels that God sent from heaven to help us.
Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
Hebrews 13:2 (KJV)
I prophesy that your answer could be in the next person that God sends your way. Don’t be too quick to judge who God sends.
With our Savior’s love,
Pastor Jo
