Dear Friend,

I heard someone say that believers are to remain in the presence of God and make Him feel at home in our hearts. How do you do this? God is:

• Holy
• Faithful
• Just
• Merciful

God has all of these attributes and more, yet God wants to be your friend. He called Abraham and Moses His friends, and He longs to be your friend, too. Exodus 33:11 says, “So the LORD spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend.”

Proverbs 17:17 says, “A friend loves at all times.” You know, Jesus is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. Take time to fellowship with Him. He wants so badly to spend time with you.

There are more than seven billion people in the world right now, but God knows you by name and he’s counted every hair on your head. He cares about everything that concerns you. JESUS LOVES YOU—plain and simple!
