Dear Friend,

What is brighter than fourth of July fireworks? God’s glory! God’s angels! We are reminded of the Christmas story when just one angel came to shepherds in the night and the bright sight and sound of that angel frightened them at first:

And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
Luke 2:9,10 (KJV)

Some people don’t think about angels or the supernatural going on around them.

There are angels present with you and with me right now, ascending and descending. The work of angels is to obey the voice of God, to perform His Word.

Bless the Lord you his angels, mighty in strength, who perform his word, obeying the voice of his word.
Psalm 103:20

We are not to worship angels or pray to angels, but it is good to understand how God has designed angels to operate. Angels are watching and listening all around us. When we speak the Word of God, we are in agreement with God, and the angels are designed to perform that Word!

I want to encourage you to open up your Bible to a place where the Lord has been speaking to your heart. Mark that scripture and speak that verse out loud.

Remember, our angels are ready and poised to obey the voice of His Word!
