Dear Friend,

No matter what storm comes your way this week, as God’s child you have the authority to speak your faith in God.  When you speak faith from your heart, you will get the victory! Hallelujah!

Fear is faith in reverse. Fear believes wrong things. Look at King David’s prayer to the Lord: My adversaries pursue me all day long; in their pride many are attacking me.

When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.
In God, whose word I praise—
in God I trust and am not afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?
Psalm 56:2-4 (NIV)

Leaders and even our friends may fight amongst themselves over personal agendas, but God is fighting for US! King David understood what it was like to be under attack both in his thoughts and by people who surrounded him. David prayed, “When I am afraid, I will trust in You.” It’s important to remember that faith is in your heart, not your head. If you need healing and quote healing scriptures from your head, that is a good start.  But remember, God knows our hearts.  If you don’t know where else to start, start with John 3:16, or whatever verses God has given you in your life to bring you to faith in Him.  Speak to God from your heart. Remember what He’s brought you through before in your life and thank Him for that.

And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
Who is he (or who is she) who overcomes the world,
but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
1 John 5:4,5 (NKJV)

Faith is the victory!  Hallelujah!
