January 9, 2023

Dear Friend,

The year 2023 has just begun and it’s important that we begin our year believing the Word of God and yielding to His Holy Spirit. If we are led by the Holy Spirit, we will know what God is thinking at any given moment and we will be able to speak and act in faith.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
Romans 8:14 (NKJV)

After Jesus ascended to heaven, His apostles began acting like Jesus and speaking like Jesus. They believed that they would do the same works as Jesus did—and even greater works as He’d promised. As they preached and healed the sick and delivered the demoniacs, the faith of the people grew.

As a result of the apostles’ work, sick people were brought out into the streets on beds and mats so that Peter’s shadow might fall across some of them as he went by.
Crowds came from the villages around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those possessed by evil spirits, and they were all healed.
Acts 5:15,16 (NLT)

Imagine that! Crowds of people were healed and delivered just by Peter’s shadow passing over them as he walked down the street. Now that’s faith!

This week, let’s believe God for greater works in our lives!
