Dear Friend,

Do you need a healing in your body?  Are you praying for someone else who needs a healing in their body? 

I want you to remember what Jesus said about the prayer of faith:

“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.” 
Matthew 18:19 (NKJV)

Let me give you an illustration about this kind of prayer. One time my husband David asked me to pray for him.  He had trouble with his legs and feet swelling. I sat down with him and I took his feet and his legs in my lap and began to pray over him. I spoke to his feet and his legs. I ran my hands over them and I commanded them to line up with God’s Word. I spoke to the nerves, muscles, joints, and called them healed in the name of Jesus.

David didn’t say that he felt anything change that night, but the next morning there was no more swelling or pain.  He didn’t experience any more pain the next night either!

I want you to know that if you have a loved one in the hospital you can speak the Word of God to them.  Even if that person is in a coma, their spirit can hear you! Their body can be hooked up to an IV while their spirit is hooked up to the Bible!

A friend of mine in Georgia goes into hospitals to pray for the sick. She speaks the Word of God over a person until they sit up!  God’s Word is true.

“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness;
“by his wounds you have been healed.”
1 Peter 2:24 (NIV)
