Dear Friend,
I really believe that Jesus will return soon but, if his coming is delayed, we will face more challenges in walking with our Lord. For example, Covid 19 spread more than a virus and death. It spread fear. No sickness or attack from Satan should be minimized. However, we cannot allow challenges to keep us in a bondage of fear, whether that challenge is sickness, finances, relationships, or employment. God is pleased when we face these challenges with faith in Him!
As the prophet Habakkuk said,
In a little while, only a little longer, the One who is coming will come without delay.
But My righteous one must live by faith, for if he gives up his commitment,
My soul will have no pleasure in him.
Hebrews 10:37,38 (The VOICE)
My friend, challenges will come, but there’s no need to fear because God is with us. God is always with us. Even though you may think at times that He is far off, He’s not. He’s always nearby. He is near you and He is near to the ones you love, especially those people that you bring to Him in prayer.
We must learn to recognize fear as our enemy and then resist it. When Job was challenged with multiple troubles, he said, “The thing I greatly feared has come upon me.” He’s saying that what he worried about happened. Now stop and think about that. We tend to attract the things that we fret, fear, and worry about.
This week, let’s stay committed to live by faith!
I believe God—it will be just as He said!
