Dear Friend,

I trust you are doing well and blessed in the Lord. You know, I want you to consider something—just in case you face a trial or a bad report this week.

The way we respond to a trial can make the difference between life and death, success or failure. For example, a couple years ago when my husband David was in the hospital, the surgeon who just operated on David said they found something unexpected that concerned them. I was polite and thanked the doctor for his help, but as soon as David and I were alone I said this:

“Lord, I don’t receive that report in the name of Jesus and I curse those words of sickness and death and I command them to hit the ground and not bear any fruit. I declare there will be no harvest from those words that the doctor said.”

When faced with a negative report, right away we need to get the Word of God in motion. Remember what the Bible says:

In the BEGINNING was the Word.
John 1:1

Make the Word of God the BEGINNING in every situation, and in every trial. God knows what is going on and He is right there fighting with you. Speak the Word and watch God turn the tide of your battle into His victory!

Glory to God!
