Dear Friend,

God’s love for us is vast, and His longing is to gather us into that love. Few people believe in the love of God, but we know this truth—that God SO loved the world that He gave His only Son, Jesus, so that anyone who believes in Jesus will not perish in hell but have everlasting life in heaven. 

Jesus experienced rejection from the people that He and His Father loved. Even when rejected, Jesus longed to prove His passionate love to those very people. Let’s look at what He said in this passage:

“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!”
Matthew 23:37 (NKJV)

God desires to gather you close to Him as well.  Will you let Him? Or will you decide to allow a wall stand between you and God? 

I want to encourage you to turn the eyes of your heart to look at Jesus. He is reaching for you right now.  Let Him gather you. Surrender to the mighty love of God and know that there is nothing that God wants more than to gather you into His arms and lead you into His kingdom.
