Dear friend,

Have you been praying for a prodigal child or grandchild?  We receive prayer requests from concerned parents and grandparents all the time, and we are glad to join you in faith for a child or young adult who strayed off or, perhaps, has not yet received the Lord.  Nothing weighs more on the heart of a godly parent than their children.

Some of our children and grandchildren are in that Valley of Decision that Joel prophesied about.

Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision!
For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.
Joel 3:14 (NKJV)

Even as mental health challenges are a growing concern for our teens and young adults, rest assured that God has the answer. All of God’s promises will come true for you. 

Though hand join in hand, the evil man shall not be unpunished; but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.
  Proverbs 11:21 (ASV)

Hallelujah!  This verse is GOOD news!  The word seed means, “your offspring.”  Not one seed, not one child, is lost by God.  God keeps good records and even when it comes to our descendants, we conquer through Jesus Christ. 

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
Romans 8:37 (NKJV)

This week as you bring your child before the throne of God in prayer, remember that God hears your prayers and He will deliver the children and grandchildren of the righteous.
