Dear friend,

No matter what trial we face in this life, we can trust Jesus to never abandon us.  We are not orphans!  Those of us who’ve received Jesus as Savior are children of God our Father!

I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
John 14:18 (NKJV)

After Jesus returned to heaven, He promised He would be with us in three ways:

1. God would be our Father in Heaven
2. God the Holy Spirit would come down to live in the hearts of believers
3. Jesus will come again one day to take His children to heaven

Christians who die before Jesus comes back will go to heaven. How does that happen? Well, our spirit will transition out of this body.  Our soul will transition out of this earthly body with our spirit. While this body of ours returns to dust and is buried, our spirit and soul will ascend to heaven to live with the Lord forever.

All people who’ve accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior can enter heaven. But some people will not see death.  Some Christians will meet the Lord in the air when Jesus returns!

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 (NKJV)

Look up!  Jesus may return today!
