Dear Friend,

Words can be your salvation or your damnation. Our words open doors and shut doors.  When I speak words contrary to what God is saying, I give Satan a foothold in my life. 

Leave no [such] room or foothold for the devil [give no opportunity to him].
Ephesians 4:27 (AMPC)

Our words can open the door to the devil or open the door to God’s blessing. 

Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.
James 3:10 (NKJV)

Don’t let your mouth be the cause of your destruction.  Listen to the Word of God—and not just for an hour on Sundays. Read your Bible, meditate on the Word of God, listen to an audio Bible when you can’t read.  Set yourself up to have access to the Word of God on your phone, your watch, your TV, iPad, and computer! 

When you listen to the Word of God and read the Word of God, you will begin to speak the Word of God.  You will speak the blessings of God, and give no door of opportunity for the devil to get into your life.
