Dear Friend,

Have you noticed that most TV commercials and internet ads are designed to put fear in you?  They describe medications that make you wonder if you have that symptom. They tell you to stay on that drug and then explain all the side effects that can make you sick or even kill you!

Satan likes to put destructive thoughts into your mind. Like commercials that convince you to buy into their product, the devil is always trying to persuade and seduce people into thinking you have something dark and deadly that you don’t have.  Pull down those heavy thoughts!

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.
 2 Corinthians 10:4,5 (NKJV)

 

Replace those dark, heavy thoughts with God’s Word.  When you go into your prayer time, God can bring a situation to mind and bring people to mind to pray for.  Let God direct your thoughts, but turn Satan’s arguments down. Satan is after your mind.  Don’t give him any space!
