Dear Friend,

God always acts on His Word. 

Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it.

Have you read your Bible this week? Maybe you listen to an audio Bible? It’s important to know what God’s Word says, so that we can say what God says, believe what God says, and act on what God says.  The angels in heaven pay attention to the voice of His Word.  Angels believe God and they act on whatever God commands!

Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
Psalm 103:20 (KJV)

Simon Peter was a fisherman before he met and followed Jesus.  One night Peter and his friends fished all night and caught nothing. When Jesus approached Peter, He told him to cast his net into the water—from the other side of the boat!  It sounded like a foolish directive, but Simon Peter took Jesus seriously.

But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.” Luke 5:5 (NKJV)

Simon Peter acted on the Word of the Lord. He believed when he said, “Nevertheless, at Your Word, I will let down the net.”

Are you facing what seems to be an impossible situation this week?  I want to invite you to trust God and take Him at His Word.  Then you will see your situation turn around.
