Dear Friend,
 
Some people don’t think about angels or the supernatural things going on around them. Angels are ascending and descending right now as you read this sentence. God’s angels surround us.
 
Did you know that angels obey the voice of God’s Word?
 
"Bless the Lord you his angels, mighty in strength, who perform his word, obeying the voice of his word." Psalm 103:20 (NASB).
 
Angels are watching over us—that’s true. But angels also watch what God is doing. They lean in and listen for His voice. As soon as God gives the word to go, the angels go and obey Him immediately.
 
God has created angels with skillful, mighty strength, but we are not to pray to angels or worship them. We pray in the name of Jesus and we worship God alone. However, God’s Word talks about angels and He wants us to be aware of them. He puts angels in charge over His children.
 
"For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways." Psalm 91:11 (NKJV).
 
I remember this verse and pray it out loud when I get into my car. Perhaps you’d like to say this prayer, too!
 
Father, I thank you that you’ve given your angels charge over me and they keep me in all of my ways. In my pathway is life, health, and healing. For I shall live and declare the works of my Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
