A Word from Pastor Jo (Week of October 26, 2015)

Saints, what is confession? First, it’s affirming something that you believe. Second, it’s testifying to something that you know; and third, it’s witnessing to a truth that you accept. Now you cannot confess or witness about things you do not know about. It’s what you personally know about the Lord Jesus and who you are in Him that counts. For instance, 2 Cor 5:17 says, “If any man be in Christ, he is a New Creature, old things have passed away; behold, all things have become New.” So you can testify to this Truth. He also said that all your sins have been forgiven. He said, “I, even I, Am He who Blots out All your transgressions…” and He will Remember them no more. And that my friend is what you tell the devil when he tries to tell you that God couldn’t have possibly forgiven you of All your sins. Amen.
